Jan Mathies is an engineer and IT consultant, but also a great fan of the game of chess, for which he recently developed a learning program for cell phones.
His other passion is music. Jan Mathies started playing the piano at the age of six. He was for a time the manager of two-time Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist, composer, arranger and bandleader Alan Broadbent, whom Jan Mathies assisted for a time as manager.
As a computer scientist, Jan Matthies was naturally interested in the possibilities of AI in the field of music, and conducted some experiments. With the help of the Suno program, he created the following rap song, including lyrics. He then contacted FIDE and received the right to use the 45th Olympiad logo in his clip:
