17/02/2025 – The Champions Chess Tour 2025 begins with the Chessable Masters As there are only two online events to earn CCT points this time, the stakes are higher than ever. Today sees the Play-In, in which the GMs and three players who qualified in the tournament played on Saturday will compete for 8 places in the knockout final, where they will be joined by 8 other automatic qualifiers, including Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura and Alireza Firouzja.
