U18 (126 participants):
At the end of a frenzied final round, Timothe Razafindratsima outdistanced Arsen Davtyan (Armenia) and his compatriot Sohan Belkaid by ½ point. Here, the new European U18 champion’s decisive game against the tournament’s long-time leader:
U16 (147 participants):
The tournament’s #2 seed, Marco Materia won the tie-break over Armenia’s Benik Agasarov, who was ½ point ahead of third-placed Bu Aksel Kavaloy (Norway).
U10 (113 participants):
Turkey’s Ali Poyraz Uzdemir took the title with 7 wins and two draws, beating Boris Kolodziejczyk by a ½ point and the tournament’s #1 seed Marc Llari, who finished top of the group of players on 7 points.
Here, in the final round, Yunqi Li’s non-starter offering without playing the final victory to Uzdemir to finish chocolate; we hope his coaches were fired immediately and that the young German will draw all the consequences:

Women’s U18 (84 participants):
After getting off to a flying start with 6 out of 6, Noga Orian, who was entitled to play in Israel’s colors, played it safe with three draws in the last three rounds. She finished ½ point ahead of the other two medalists: Izabela Tokarz (Poland) and Mariia Manko (Switzerland).
