08/10/2024 – The second edition of the Global Chess League takes place from October 03 to 12. The tournament features six teams, each made up of male and female stars, including Magnus Carlsen, Viswanathan Anand and Hou Yifan. The competition takes the form of a round-trip championship in fast-paced games (20′ without increments) culminating in a final clash between the top two finishers. As in soccer, a team victory is worth 3 points and a draw 1 point.
