27/10/2024 – The European Club Championships held in Vrnjačka Banja (Serbia) came to a close with a thrilling final round in both the open and women’s sections. The Czech team Novy Bor dominated the first round, beating favorites SuperChess, with Alkaloid and Romanian club Vados completing the podium. In the women’s section, lTAJFUN-ŠK Ljubljana became champion, beating SuperChess, who took third place, while Garuda Ajka BSK took second place thanks to a decisive final victory. | Photos: European Chess Union
