18/01/2025 – The Tata Steel tournament in Wijk aan Zee (Netherlands) runs from January 18 to February 02 (rest days January 23, 27 and 30). Among the guests at the Masters is reigning world champion Gukesh, who will be playing his first games since being crowned world champion in mid-December. He will be joined by last year’s winner Wei Yi, his compatriots Erigaisi, Praggnanadhaa, Harikrishna and Mendonca (winner of Challengers 2024), current world No. 2 Caruana, and young wolves Abdusattorov and Keymer.
